Leongatha is a town in the foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges, South Gippsland Shire, Victoria, Australia, located 134 kilometres south-east of Melbourne. The town is the civic, commercial, industrial, religious, educational and sporting centre of the region.

Leongatha Wine District

The Leongatha Wine District includes wineries in the South Gippsland Wine Region It includes the towns of Leongatha, Korumburra, Inverloch, Koonwarra, Foster and Kardella in South Gippsland, north west of Westerport and Phillip Island.   The town also boasts many galleries devoted to the local arts and crafts of the region and a host of cafes, restaurants and fresh food outlets showcasing the food products of this rich agricultural area. It provides the backdrop to its array of vineyards and wineries.

Coal Creek/Korumburra

Coal Creek Community Park and Museum boasts a large collection of objects and buildings which are sure to impress and educate visitors of all ages. Set at the time of Federation, the site depicts how life would have been for the early settlers in the region.

Inverloch is a perfect place to visit from our Leongatha Caravan Park. Just a short drive for those visiting Phillip Island and continuing on to Wilsons Promontory. Enjoy the spectacular views of Bass Strait from the cliff tops along the 12-kilometre Bunurong Coastal Drive between Inverloch and Cape Paterson.
